A lively stream shrouded by ice
Where once the day cherished its heart
Millions of eyes now reside
Another year coming close to an end
Another piece of time fading away
Every moment wasted in past's regret
Comes as years in the groves of pain

A freezing gust of death swept it all away
Prepared the land for the oncoming snow
And the winter that holds it all within
